Robbie Williams has made a shocking confession that he once berated wheelchair users for not standing up at his concert.
The Take That singer, 50, revealed that the incident became one of his most embarrassing moments ever, and that he tried to salvage the situation by performing Angels.
The story came about when Robbie revealed one of his other most embarrassing moments, recalling when he ‘pooped his pants’ on stage after food poisoning.
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, he admitted: ‘It’s not the most embarrassing thing that happened. But yes, I did poop myself on stage because of food poisoning.’
He then laughed: ‘And then I did it again because it was enjoyable in another show.’
But it was another incident that topped off his list of embarrassing moments – and we can see why.
Summarising his ‘long story’, Robbie explained: ‘Basically I confused the wheelchair section in my show for people that weren’t standing up and enjoying themselves.

‘And I berated them and I got the whole audience to point at them and boo and stamp their feet and go, “Out, out, out!”‘
It was only a gesture from his manager backstage that made Robbie realise what was really happening.
He went on: ‘The way you get out of that is a ballad, definitely a ballad, definitely by doing Angels.’
‘This happened before phones,’ he added, with Andy and guest Julia Stiles agreeing: ‘Thank god!’

Robbie has previously revealed the poop incident, explaining in an Instagram post in 2023: ‘So, I had food poisoning once on the Take That tour.
‘When I rejoined It was Horrendous. It felt like death.
‘We unfortunately had to cancel a show in Denmark because of it. I still feel bad.
‘Anyway, A few days later we were playing at the Ajax stadium in Amsterdam.

‘Still not anywhere near well enough I ventured to the stage. I was in the precarious position of not being able to ‘’trust a fart’’.
”Which was unfortunate because that’s what I needed to do during my opening song. Let me Entertain you.
‘As I’m sure you can imagine it didn’t remain just a fart. But ever the pro I retained my composure and committed to the performance 100%.
‘Because of the picture I’ve just painted I’m sure you have questions. But let’s just let sleeping logs lie for now.
‘A gig parp any other time can be liberating.’
