WWE has announced a huge multi-year partnership with longtime rivals TNA Wrestling, and fans are buzzing.

The two historic wrestling promotions are joining forces with the goal of ‘creating unprecedented crossover opportunities’ across both TNA and NXT, as well as ‘select’ WWE premium live event and TNA pay-per-views.

Already, fans have seen the likes of Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace appear on NXT TV, while Arianna Grace, Tatum Paxley, Charlie Dempsey and more have gone the other way.

‘WWE and TNA are partnering up this is so amazing bro my childhood always wanted this,’ wrote @CrzzCmpnyMane, while @christhecool21 added: ‘Great for the business!’

And @OctobesVeryO3N added: ‘I never thought I would see the day that WWE would partner with another North American professional wrestling company. TNA wrestlers in a WWE video game would rule.’

For a long time, TNA and WWE had a healthy rivalry, but in recent years that has thawed with the promotions able to work together.

‘This historic relationship demonstrates that collaboration and competition do not have to be mutually exclusive,’ said Ariel Shnerer, Senior Vice President of Content & Distribution for TNA Wrestling and Anthem Sports & Entertainment.

‘Our partnership allows the TNA Wrestling brand and its incredible athletes to reach a significantly wider audience, while giving WWE and NXT stars an opportunity to cross the line and gain valuable experience, as they join forces with one of the most talented rosters in professional wrestling today.

‘The response to our collaboration over the past year has been tremendous and both companies have benefited, but the fans have reaped the greatest rewards from this talent crossover and working relationship.’

The TNA roster in 2025 is stacked with WWE legends like the Hardy Boyz and Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) alongside the likes of Leon Slater, Ace Austin and the Rascalz.

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, who is in charge of NXT while also being WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, is excited to see their partnership develop.

Meanwhile, current TNA X-Division Champion Moose previously told Metro that the company’s relationship with WWE has been much more beneficial than their past arrangement with AEW.

‘I think this relationship [with WWE], both companies respect each other and [are] doing great by each other,’ he added. ‘And there’s no, there’s not one company that is being selfish.

‘Both companies are doing great. So I think this is how a relationship is meant to be in pro wrestling, and TNA and WWE is doing the best job of it.’
