The Traitors winner already ‘revealed’ days before final after huge twist

We have less than a week to go before finding out who will be crowned the next winner, or winners, of The Traitors, but the champion may have already been revealed.

Last year, Harry Clark proved to be the ultimate backstabber, as he lied and manipulated his way to a prize pot of £95,000.

The year before, in the first season of Claudia Winkleman’s murder mystery gameshow, three Faithfuls made it to the very end and shocked us all when they walked away with a whopping £101,050.

We’ve all been hoping Minah Shannon might be the one to follow in her footsteps, after turning on her fellow Traitors Linda Rands and Armani Gouveia, but the recent recruitment of Charlotte Berman may throw this prediction off.

Charlotte, who has already proven to be the best liar around the roundtable with her fake Welsh accent, is currently the likeliest to win.

With The Traitors standing at odds of 4/6 to emerge victorious and the Faithful at 6/4, Charlotte’s odds have been slashed in the winners’ market to 4/5.

She’s already hinted she’s ready to betray Minah, who has slipped to 4/1 for Traitors victory and could be banished on Wednesday.

Odds for Minah being eliminated by the vote-off stand at 11/8, closely behind frontrunner Francesca Rowan-Plowden, who had the second most number of votes on Friday, after banished Faithful Leon Jackman.

Meanwhile, Traitor-hunter Jake Brown is a favourite to be murdered, standing at 4/9, followed by Leanne Quigley at 6/4.

Fans have already worked out there may be a new eliminate thrown into the game, with the role of a ‘Seer’.

According to the odds, British diplomat Alexander Dragonetti is likely to be taking on that role, at odds of 6/4, while Freddie Fraser follows behind in receiving the game’s new power, at 13/8.

Claudia previously teased the major twist that would be coming to the final, saying: ‘One of you will win an extraordinary power that could turn the entire game on its head.’

She’s left the rest to our imaginations for now, but fans have already been hard at work devising theories, and think the twist is the role of a Seer, who can target a player to discover if they’re a Faithful or Traitor, using that information to aid the players without making themselves the next target.

Ahead of entering the game, Charlotte revealed she planned on spending her prize money on fertility treatment, a safari holiday and redecorating her home.

She also teased that she’s prepared to go as far as needs be to win, saying:’I will do whatever it takes, you have to!

‘I think the thing with being a Traitor is that it gives you safety initially. You’re safe from murder and you’re probably safe from maybe one or two roundtables.

‘But from that moment on, it’s the other Traitors that are going to turn on you and each other. So, I think that although being a Traitor would be thrilling, it would be a fine art to play.’

The Traitors continues on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
