Night is looming. The moon is shining bright above a castle. A TV icon with an enviable fringe and over-the-top eyeliner struts on the grounds. There’s a scent of murder in the air.
The week of The Traitors final is finally here.
It’s been a suspenseful road up until this point. Minah has played a blinding game as a Traitor, surviving right from the very start and recently recruiting Charlotte to join her murderous ranks. But some believe that the Faithfuls could end up winning the cash prize at the end of the road.
With so many theories buzzing around The Traitors fandom, we asked Metro’s TV team for their predictions on how the final episodes of the 2025 series will go down on BBC One. On one thing, we all agreed – it’s going to be a rollercoaster.
From Minah taking the win to Freddie helping the Faithfuls to overthrow the treacherous among them, there are plenty of ways the last three episodes could unfold. Who do you agree with?

‘I think she’s well and truly proven herself as a Faithful to the rest of the group, which puts her in a brilliant position in the pointy edge of the competition.

‘After being recruited as a Traitor it’s understandable she doesn’t trust Minah (as past seasons have proven Traitors will happily backstab each other) so I think she might pull off the win solo!’
Sabrina Barr, Deputy TV Editor
Sabrina’s prediction: The Faithfuls will win after being led to victory by Freddie
Freddie managed to avoid being banished when he came under heavy suspicion earlier in the series (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry)
‘While at the beginning of the series it seemed as though Freddie was too overwhelmed by the game – which was not helped by the targeted campaign against him – his gut instinct has proven to be pretty accurate as the series has progressed.
‘When no one else had even considered that Minah could be a Traitor, Freddie was gradually piecing clues together, rather than throwing out wild guesses such as someone being a Traitor simply because of their profession in the real world (which is what happened to Kas).
‘I think if it gets to the final stage of the competition, Freddie is still in and he’s convinced everyone that he’s a Faithful, then he could in turn persuade the other Faithfuls who not to trust… and therefore prevent Minah, Charlotte or any other potential recruited Traitors from winning the cash prize.’
Adam Miller, TV Editor
Adam’s prediction: Alexander will draw the final blow against Traitor Charlotte
Could Alexander be a dark horse in the competition? (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry)
‘I’ve never loved a Traitors contestant more than I’ve loved Minah. Initially I was adamant she would storm it to the final and clinch the prize money but, as is the beauty of the Traitors, each episode flips the game on its head and now she’ll be lucky to make it into the final five.
‘With just three episodes left, it feels as though she is on borrowed time, unaware that her recruited Traitor Charlotte is patiently waiting for the right time to pounce and stab her in the back. Sadly, I can’t see how Charlotte won’t succeed and the nation will mourn harder than when Diane took a fatal sip of fizzy rose.
‘That being said, Charlotte’s behaviour has noticeably changed since she became a Traitor – she’s way more reserved and I think it’s only a matter of time before sleuth Alexander realises she’s not just lying about her Welsh accent.
‘In the final roundtable it will all come to a head. Charlotte, Alexander, Freddie, and Joe will be glaring at each other desperate for a clue. Charlotte will try and throw Freddie under the bus, knowing there’s been suspicion on him from the start, but Alexander will expose Charlotte when it really counts.
‘Joe will have no part to play in the faithful winning the prize pot.’
Meghna Amin, Senior TV Reporter
Meghna’s prediction: It’ll be a powerhouse, all-female final three
Leanne has had very heated reactions when accused of being a Traitor (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry)
‘I have been team Minah from the start and I think I will be till the end. Though it seems like Charlotte is about to throw her under the bus, I think Minah could come back from this, and Charlotte will be the one banished after voicing (in her fake Welsh accent) her suspicions of Minah.
‘I reckon The Traitors will murder Alexander and Jake in the next few days, banish Freddie too (and possibly Joe, but really, who knows where he’ll end up), and, in the true theme of sisterhood, it’ll be an all-female final three with Leanne, Francesca and Minah.
‘My unlikeliest winner prediction is Joe, but the one who I’d be very happy to have walking away with the cash prize entirely on his own (if not Minah) is Alexander.’
Josie Copson, Senior TV Reporter
Josie’s prediction: Charlotte will betray the Traitors sisterhood to win
Minah might have made a mistake in trusting Charlotte (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry)
‘The best thing about The Traitors is its total unpredictability – who’d have thought Linda would survive until the penultimate week despite literally looking up when Claudia Winkleman said “Traitors” for the very first time? With that being said, I am confident in my reality TV abilities and reckon I may be able to work out what is going to happen.
‘Both Traitors – Minah and Charlotte – are going to make the final roundtable, and they’ll be joined by Faithfuls Alexander, Freddie and Leanne. Leanne will be utterly convinced that it’s not Minah or Charlotte. However, Alexander and Freddie will act on the Minah suspicions that began to surface last week, and Charlotte will turn on the sisterhood to ensure her banishment.
‘They’ll then vote again and this time Freddie is a goner with everyone but Alexander choosing him. Charlotte will remain undetected and will win the full cash prize. When Charlotte dramatically reveals her truth, she’ll be doing it in her real London accent, rather than the fake Welsh she’s kept up for the entire series. Her voice box and bank account will both be pleased.’
Asyia Iftikhar, Entertainment Reporter
Asyia’s prediction: That the Faithfuls will win… but by accident
It’s up in the air whether the Faithfuls will win or if the Traitors will defeat them (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry)
‘This year’s crop of Faithfuls have had a chaotic strategy, but they seem to ultimately figure things out.
‘Unfortunately, I can see Minah’s demise by Charlotte’s hand all too clearly and – wracked by guilt, the burden of betrayal, and the hubris of a well-executed plan – Charlotte’s treacherous ways will be stumbled upon just in the nick of time. Or it’ll be a total fluke.
‘It’ll make edge-of-your-seat TV but Minah will sadly be robbed of her rightful victory.’
The Traitors returns tonight at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
