The Traitors fans convinced banished ‘queen’ contestant left major secret message

Oh we’ve got whiplash from that episode… (Picture: BBC)

Spoiler alert! Minah, oh Minah, our Queen Traitor to beat all Traitors has been banished, turned on by her own prodigy, Charlotte.

But fans are convinced that on her dramatic banishment at tonight’s round table, Minah left a huge hint to help the Faithfuls oust Charlotte.

On exiting and revealing her identity as a Traitor, Minah clarified: ‘I am, and have been from the start, a Traitor’ – leading some to suspect she was hinting there is a recruited Traitor hiding in plain sight.

‘Did Minah just drop a bit of a clue with the ‘have been from the start’ – indicating that there definitely is a recruiter Traitor left,’ asked @R58959602.

Incredibly, Faithfuls Leanne and Jake actually picked up on Minah’s hint while discussing her exit, as @hannahleewrites noted: ‘Jake and Leanne using “I’ve been a Traitor from the start” omg Minah was that on purpose?!’

The deciding vote at the round table saw Charlotte turn on Minah, and vote her out. Ouch.

Talking to the cameras following her exit, Minah seemed gobsmacked after Charlotte’s betrayal.

‘You take them under your wing and they do you dirty,’ she said.

But the drama just kept on coming this evening, as Charlotte was required to give a Faithful an ultimatum: join the dark side as a Traitor, or leave the game.

She chose Freddie, and in doing so created a wild and complicated route for her to get into the final…

What is Charlotte’s plan on The Traitors?

Though the show was left on a cliffhanger, Charlotte looks as though she is trying to murder Leanne and frame Freddie for it.

This is because Leanne told Charlotte and a handful of others – but not newly recruited Traitor Freddie – that she had a shield that night, so was immune from murder.

So if she and Freddie murder Leanne, it could be pinned on Freddie – especially because Jake and everyone else seem convinced the Traitor is male. The idea is, Charlotte can’t be a Traitor because she would have murdered someone without a shield.

Welcome to a new level of Traitor, people. Charlotte is also pretending to be Welsh. As you do.

‘Dammit I have to give it to her, Charlotte is playing a blinder,’ said @Marian_McHugh.

‘You cannot deny the way charlotte has played this since becoming a traitor is so clever,’ commented @ismisecolleen.

What has Charlotte done on The Traitors so far?

This season’s original Traitor Minah seduced – or forced, rather – Charlotte to be Traitor number two after the previous two not-so-great deceivers in Linda and Armarni were banished from the show.

While Minah thought she’d recruited an ally in Charlotte, she definitely underestimated her.

Minah said she’d like to go to the final with Charlotte rather than turning on her, but the Welsh-wannabe has her own game plan and doesn’t seem to be taking any prisoners whatsoever.

Last week, Charlotte began sewing seeds of suspicion among the Faithfuls that Minah was a Traitor, clearly trying to gain the upper hand in the tricky relationship.

Minah began tonight’s episode rattled, saying it was the first day she’s felt under threat as a Traitor, having previously evaded suspicion until now – and was still convinced Charlotte ‘wouldn’t throw [her] under the bus’. Eek.

Freddie had voiced his concerns at Minah’s faithfulness before she’d even walked into breakfast – but the conversation soon turned to Joe, who the Traitors brutally killed off the show at the start of the episode.

But all heads spun around back to Minah in the episode’s challenge, which saw all the contestants guess answers to questions which the mystery Traitors had answered.

While the Traitors wanted the group to get the answers right – and add to the cash prize – they also had to pretend not to know the answers, because… How could they?! They are, ahem, Faithfuls.

But Minah sealed her fate in the chess game when she pushed for an answer that she knew was right, and Frankie grew suspicious.

The Traitors new rules explained

For the uninitiated, the hit BBC show follows contestants trapped in a (very comfortable, tiny bit creepy) Scottish Castle, who are tasked with playing a weeks-long murder mystery game.

A small minority of contestants have the role of Traitors, while the rest are Faithfuls. The aim of the game is simple: the Traitors must go through the game convincing Faithfuls they are one of them, while brutally murdering them in the night. Meanwhile, Faithfuls must attempt to spot and banish Traitors – or face the chopping block each night.

If only Faithfuls remain in the final, they get to split the cash prize of £120,000. However, if a Traitor remains, they will snatch it all up for themselves.

The next episode will see the last round table when a banished player will reveal their true identity on leaving – after that, it’s anyone’s guess whether Traitors or Faithfuls remain.

Usually, players will know up until the last banishment whether they had successfully binned a Traitor, or sent a Faithful to their death. But this time, their identity will remain unknown after tomorrow’s episode.

Host Claudia Winkleman also revealed that one of the contestants will win a power never seen before on the show – which some people think might be a new Seer role, giving one player a chance to catch a Traitor lurking around the castle.

Whatever the result of this year’s show, it’s bound to be dramatic…

The Traitors airs on BBC One every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 9pm.
