The price of a pie being sold at Jeremy Clarkson’s Cotswolds pub has been described as ‘outrageous’.
The former Top Gear star, 64, opened The Farmer’s Dog pub in Burford in August following the success of his Diddly Squat farm shop, which saw fans of his series Clarkson’s Farm flock to the area.
However soon after its doors opened, many slammed the cost of food and drinks at the venue, including a fillet steak and vegetables for £28.
Now, nearly six months on, some people have again been left gobsmacked by the price of another product.
Posting a video of his visit to the farm shop linked to the venue, TikTok user theskepticstake gave viewers a glimpse inside – including of a £200 ‘extra extra large’ meat pie being sold to customers.
Narrating the clip, the poster began: ‘I went to Jeremy Clarkson’s pub and farm shop so you don’t have to.

‘A place where you pay £2 to park in a muddy field and choose from the array of overpriced souvenirs that will end up in your bin.
‘Like this bl**** candle, for £22 and enough pie to throw at your neighbour for £200.
‘Or a litre of non-organic milk for £6.10, including the bottle. And before you leave, try the construction site pee experience in this shipping container.’
‘£199 for a pie? No wonder farmers are screwed. No one but a tourist would think those prices are ok,’ Adam commented.
‘£200 quid for a pork pie wtf,’ someone else shared.

‘Mostly just for rich people,’ arttie_prepper added.
Speaking to the Oxford Mail, one Oxfordshire man said: ‘I am wondering how they can justify prices like that. That’s worse than the posh meccas of Daylesford or Burford Garden Centre. Can’t imagine there being any takers.’
Although some declared it was ‘overpriced’, others rushed to defend Jeremy’s business.
‘Been there a few times, absolutely love it. Pub is awesome, farm shop is great. Beautiful, local produce, top quality stuff,’ Andy shared.
Although it’s unclear how big the pie is or how many people it feeds, other companies have similar sized ones advertised for around £70.

Meanwhile the shepherd’s pie and steak pie available at The Farmer’s Dog are listed on the menu for £19 each.
The backlash over prices comes after Jeremy defended the pub last year after one person predicted drinks would be pricey, quipping: ‘I bet you’ll need to remortgage once you’ve bought a round.’
He simply replied: ‘It’s £5.50 for a pint.’
Merchandise sold there has also been questioned, with items including an apron for £40, a dog bowl for £35 and a bottle opener for £14.

Clarkson’s Farm is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
