Daisy May Cooper won’t be returning for the next series of Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
The 37-year-old This Country star joined as team captain opposite Noel Fielding when Sky brought back the iconic 1990s music quiz in 2021, but she’ll be replaced for the revival’s upcoming fourth run.
When the show returns for series four later this year, Greg Davies will once again be host, with Noel Fielding back and Jamali Maddix returning as a regular panelist.
However, Daisy – whose BBC show Rain Dogs was axed after one series – is stepping down until the Christmas special with recent Taskmaster star Sophie Willan stepping in as captain.
There will also be a host of stars coming in for the upcoming specials, which will be themed with 90s, 00s, Rock, and Girl and Boy Bands editions.

She recently revealed her third child is ‘doing brilliantly’ after announcing her new arrival in June.

The show first launched in 1996 with Mark Lamarr at the helm until 2005, before Simon Amstell took over as the next regular host, followed by a series of guest hosts until 2014 when Rhod Gilbert took over, with Greg taking charge for the Sky revival in 2021.
