The Traitors star Leanne Quigley has revealed her partner is cancer free after facing a grade 3 diagnosis.
The 28-year-old veteran from North Wales is one of the Faithful contestants on the current season of the BBC series.
Leanne, who shares twin boys with her partner Sophie, recently revealed the unsettling diagnosis they’d received last year but how they were now feeling optimistic after recent news.
‘This is the only news we needed and wanted,’ she began.
‘On the 31st July 2024 my partner, and the mother of my children was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer. Watching the person you love fight through chemotherapy is up there with the worst things on earth.
‘We quickly learnt to never take anything for granted ever again, and sadly had to learn that tomorrow is never promised and fear of the unknown literally killed us inside.’

She continued: ‘Yesterday, Wednesday 8th January 2025, the strongest woman on planet earth was told she is cancer free. She did it.
‘I cannot express or put into words how proud I am, and how in awe I am of her strength every single day.

‘Today we begin to truly celebrate us, our boys, and the excitement of the rest of our lives.’
Leanne went on to thank the NHS for ‘quite literally saving my whole family’ and their support system of family and friends.
‘For anybody fighting, or for anybody watching their loved ones fight this horrible disease. I see you and I feel you. Please don’t give up,’ she concluded the post.

Commenting, Sophie also wrote the following directed at Leanne: ‘You have absolutely held your head up high and got me through this babe. I couldn’t wish for a better woman by my side honestly I love you so so much. Thank you for everything over the last 6 months. Now let’s go and enjoy our life.’
The couple received plenty of support, with The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman sharing a series of love hearts on the post.
A month after Sophie’s cancer diagnosis last year, she and Leanne got married.
It came after their sons Hudson and Harley were born in January 2023. However, they had to spend months in intensive care after arriving prematurely before the couple announced they were able to finally take them home in April that year.

Before the season began, Leanne revealed she would use any potential prize money from The Traitors on growing her family.
‘I would love to go through IVF again. I went through IVF with my boys, and I was very poorly throughout my pregnancy, and then I went into early labour at six months,’ she said.
‘The boys were only 26 weeks when they were born. Because I was so poorly at the time I feel I missed out on enjoying that newborn stage. I’m so so grateful to have them, and I’m so lucky that they’re alive.
‘When they did come home from hospital after three months, they come home on oxygen, and it was a struggle to take them out. I would love the opportunity to have another baby, hopefully have a bit of a better experience. And to make our family a bit bigger.’
The Traitors continues tomorrow at 9pm on BBC One.
