The Traitors US star accused of ‘ruining the game’ after ‘painful’ decisions

The Traitors US viewers have declared that season three is ‘hard to watch’ after Danielle Reyes’ baffling game play raised eyebrows.

After last week’s shocking roundtable saw Rob ‘Boston Rob’ Mariano turn the tables and get fellow Traitor Bob The Drag Queen banished, there were several more twists on the most recent episode of the Peacock gameshow.

Big Brother star Danielle, who was made a Traitor in the premiere, was left reeling over the move and vowed to avenge her ‘ride or die’ pal – and seemingly had a plan to get final Traitor Carolyn Wiger and the other Faithfuls to flip on him immediately.

However, things took a turn in the mission when she won two shields in front of her star-studded castmates, and promptly gave one away to Dolores Catania.

She then gave a second shield to Derrick Levasseur in a bid to gain their trust, but this left everyone confused over why she didn’t take the opportunity to keep the protection for herself.

Despite getting a coveted shield from murder, Dolores questioned Danielle’s motives during the game, asking: ‘Don’t you feel like you’re going to get murdered too?’

It then appeared to dawn on the Traitor that she had made herself look suspicious but, as she became visibly panicked and emotional, the Housewife fumed: ‘Danielle you can’t stand there and cry like this. I’m not going to accept it.

‘I don’t really want to accept it.’

The rest of the cast were also shocked, as they admitted that Danielle had raised flags with the bizarre gameplay – with fans flocking to social media in their droves to slam the move.

Taking to Twitter, Bianca wrote: ‘Danielle just basically told EVERYONE she’s a traitor by not choosing herself for a shield #TraitorsUS #TheTraitors.’

Solomon said: ‘Danielle basically announced she was a traitor by not choosing to save herself *twice* during the mission and folks still worried about the coffins from two episodes ago. #TheTraitorsUS.’

‘It’s not only that Danielle is doing too much but she’s not even pretending she’s a faithful,’ Tea_witdre agreed.

‘Like everything she does seems personal and screams agenda. She’s not a good traitor at all! She’s not even making allies #TheTraitorsUS.’

Over on Reddit, many more accused Danielle of ‘ruining the game’ for her fellow Traitors, suggesting that her decisions were making the series ‘hard to watch’.

‘She is absolutely allergic to good decisions,’ R8cha posted, as Greenbluval insisted: ‘Danielle is the worst traitor I’ve seen.’

Dida_D commented: ‘Danielle is an absolute disaster that it’s honestly hard to watch.’

PCplyr53 fumed: ‘I swear watching Danielle irritates me to no end. She is without a doubt the worst traitor ever; she has no clue what she is doing. She plays purely emotionally and it makes watching so painful.’

As Jdessy added: ‘So, Danielle draws hot suspicion on herself during the mission because, again, she overthought the game, tried to appear Faithful by putting up other people for shields instead of herself and she immediately gets called out.

‘Good, she’s making stupid ass choices. I really did like Danielle but she is not good at this game.’

After the slip-up, Danielle went into overdrive to keep her spot in the castle – but clumsily threw attention onto Carolyn instead.

She was somehow able to get through the roundtable relatively unscathed, as Nikki Bella became banished at the end of a tense showdown.

But Carolyn was alerted to Danielle’s treacherous play just before the credits rolled, setting up a huge Traitor war next week.

With all three in the turret gunning to get their fellow Traitors banished, could the Faithful finally find themselves on the upper foot?
