The Traitors viewers think Minah Shannon will make it all the way to the final for one reason (Picture: BBC)
The Traitors viewers have shared a theory predicting Minah Shannon will make it all the way to the final.
So far, the 29-year-old call centre manager has proven to be the Ultimate Traitor, and though she’s heavily invested in the ‘sisterhood’, she hasn’t been afraid to lie, deceive and betray her way through the murder mystery gameshow.
She turned on her fellow Traitors Linda Rands and Armani Gouveia in blistering roundtables, and appears to have convinced the Faithful that she’s one of them.
And amid all the wild theories that are swirling around Claudia Winkleman’s BBC competition, including several ‘secret relationships’, fans now think there’s a reason Minah will be kept in until the final.
She recently recruited fake-Welsh contestant Charlotte Berman, who has already appeared to hint she’ll be throwing her under the bus, and suspicions around Minah are beginning to grow.
But, fans think, could the real Faithful already know Minah is actually a Traitor and are keeping her in until the final to secure the prizemoney for themselves?

There’s a theory going around that she’s being deliberately kept in the game by the Faithful, which is why she is the only original Traitor to not have been exposed at the roundtable, despite her name being spelled out (infamously incorrectly) on the chalkboards more than once.

If more and more Faithfuls are banished, and Minah reaches close to the end as a Traitor with just one or two others, those remaining Faithful will take home the cashprize and have less people to split it between when they finally expose Minah.
Alternatively, if they know Minah is a Traitor and banish other players who may or may not be Traitors, they don’t have to worry about someone else being recruited if Minah is still in the game.

Of course, if they don’t catch Minah out, she (along with Charlotte perhaps) will take home the full prizepot.
‘The others 100% know Minah is a Traitor and are just getting out Faithfuls to get to the final,’ viewer @MilkySteve pondered on X.
@Parvtana also questioned why they wouldn’t just keep Minah in the game, saying: ‘Kinda new to the traitors but what’s the point of actually getting Traitors out of the game early on as a Faithful? Like if you know who a Traitor is why not keep them around so they’re not just replaced by someone else and an unknown variable is added to the game?’
@twizms elsewhere commented, referencing the US version of the game: ‘So if you want to make it to the end as a Faithful you need Traitor protection. Given that, wouldn’t the smartest move be to become best friends with the known Traitor and cut them at the end?’

It’s hard to believe this theory could be true, when there’s been little conversation aired between the Faithfuls to suggest a ‘secret plan’ like this could be in the works.
Ahead of the series airing, before being chosen by Claudia as a Traitor, Minah said: ‘I feel like I have a very similar personality to Harry [Clark, season two winner]. In this game I will cheer everyone on in the Missions to get them done and to get the money. Secretly you’re thinking, I need this lot to work hard to earn my money that I’m going to take at the end!
‘I think you’ve got to be careful not to throw too many accusations and allegations whether you’re a Traitor or a Faithful, because if you’re a Faithful, and you’re constantly accusing people, as soon as you accuse a Traitor, you could get murdered. And then I think if you’re a Traitor, there’s a risk of accusing too much.

‘I’m going to be observant and be like the mother of the group – even though I might not be the oldest mother in the group – and just have my arm around everyone. If people are struggling, if they’re homesick or they just want to have a cousin and coach or someone to help tell them that it’s going to be okay, I’m probably that person.’
Could Minah make it all the way to the end and follow in Harry Clark’s footsteps by taking home the huge prizepot? We only have to wait a week to find out…
The Traitors continues on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
