The Traitors winner Leanne Quigley has revealed her plans for her share of the £94,000 prize fund after a difficult few years she’s faced with her family.
The 28-year-old veteran from North Wales – who walked away with the huge sum alongside fellow Faithful Jake Brown – recently revealed her fiancée Sophie is cancer free after facing a grade 3 diagnosis in July.
She’d already spoken about her personal life in a candid conversation during the murder mystery gameshow, where she broke down in tears, and said that she hoped to have another baby with her partner Sophie if she won the show after a very hard few years, where her twins, now two years old, were born in intensive care.
The conversation came after Leanne revealed the unsettling cancer diagnosis they’d received last year with Sophie’s health scare.
Thankfully in January, as the series aired, the couple were able to celebrate Sophie being cancer free.
She’s now spoken to Metro about their plans for the future together, having recently just got engaged too.

‘We have a wedding to plan, and we’re actually going to start it right now. We haven’t set a date yet, but yeah, we’re going to get on that straight away and probably just discuss IVF again, which we won’t do just yet,’ she said.

‘The boys are only two. We’re really enjoying some family time. But yeah, we’re really excited.’
Leanne returned home from filming the series and found out that Sophie had cancer just a month later.
She recalled: ‘I would never, ever have gone away to film if Soph had cancer. We found out weeks after I got home.
‘Actually, she found a lump maybe a month after, and it all happened very quickly from there. Ringing the bell now, radiotherapy to get through.’

The couple are now planning on spending time with their young family, as Leanne takes a break from the army.
She said: ‘I only left the army actually in October, so I’m still very freshly out of the army. And with lots going on, first of all, with the twins, and then with my partner, we’re going to take some time now to really enjoy family time.’
During the series, which was filmed before Leanne was engaged, she joked about spending money on a wedding, and opened up about the difficult period they faced when her sons were born.
‘I wish I could say pay for a wedding, but I’m still working on getting a ring, so hopefully that will come soon,’ she laughed to the other players.

‘I would love to have another baby. Obviously IVF doesn’t come cheap. I actually only ever wanted two children. I never expected to have twins,’ she explained.
Continuing, she said: ‘I’d love to give my twins another little brother or sister and get that experience I didn’t quite get to have. As a family we’ve been through a lot over the past year and a half.
‘I was only 26 weeks when I went into labour. We spent the first three months when they were born in intensive care. They were in and out of hospital. We’ve been through a lot. But it’s good now.’
This comes after Leanne revealed they were now feeling optimistic after Sophie’s recent health update, in an emotional Instagram post.
‘This is the only news we needed and wanted,’ she began.

‘On the 31st July 2024 my partner, and the mother of my children was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer. Watching the person you love fight through chemotherapy is up there with the worst things on earth.
‘We quickly learnt to never take anything for granted ever again, and sadly had to learn that tomorrow is never promised and fear of the unknown literally killed us inside.’
She continued: ‘Yesterday, Wednesday 8th January 2025, the strongest woman on planet earth was told she is cancer free. She did it.
‘I cannot express or put into words how proud I am, and how in awe I am of her strength every single day.
‘Today we begin to truly celebrate us, our boys, and the excitement of the rest of our lives.’

Leanne went on to thank the NHS for ‘quite literally saving my whole family’ and their support system of family and friends.
‘For anybody fighting, or for anybody watching their loved ones fight this horrible disease. I see you and I feel you. Please don’t give up,’ she concluded the post.
Commenting, Sophie also wrote the following directed at Leanne: ‘You have absolutely held your head up high and got me through this babe. I couldn’t wish for a better woman by my side honestly I love you so so much. Thank you for everything over the last 6 months. Now let’s go and enjoy our life.’
The couple received plenty of support, with The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman sharing a series of love hearts on the post.
Their sons Hudson and Harley were born in January 2023. However, they had to spend months in intensive care after arriving prematurely before the couple announced they were able to finally take them home in April that year.

Before the season began, Leanne revealed she would use any potential prize money from The Traitors on growing her family.
‘I would love to go through IVF again. I went through IVF with my boys, and I was very poorly throughout my pregnancy, and then I went into early labour at six months,’ she said.
‘The boys were only 26 weeks when they were born. Because I was so poorly at the time I feel I missed out on enjoying that newborn stage. I’m so so grateful to have them, and I’m so lucky that they’re alive.
‘When they did come home from hospital after three months, they come home on oxygen, and it was a struggle to take them out. I would love the opportunity to have another baby, hopefully have a bit of a better experience. And to make our family a bit bigger.’
The Traitors is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
