Tom Selleck has been spotted enjoying a birthday lunch by himself in a McDonald’s drive-thru.
The Friends star turned 80 years old on Wednesday, and was pictured in Thousand Oaks, California treating himself to some fast food.
Tom was seen in his car looking decades younger, with dark hair and a greying goatee, as well as his signature moustache.
He kept a low profile as he tucked into his meal in his truck during his solo lunch date.
This comes after the Magnum PI leading actor revealed he didn’t put too much pressure on birthdays.

When asked about special plans for celebrating the milestone, he told Parade: ‘None whatsoever. I’m trying not to count.
‘I stopped celebrating birthdays a while back. I intend to keep working.
‘I’ll probably have dinner with maybe my brother and my sister and Jillie, just go out to dinner, kind of be quiet and not make a big deal of it.’
Tom, who largely keeps his private life out of the spotlight, met wife Jillie at the height of his fame in the early 80s, before they married in 1987 and welcomed their daughter the following year.

He shot to fame as private investigator Thomas Magnum in 1980 (famously turning down Indiana Jones for the role), before starring in the likes of Three Men and a Baby, as Monica’s love interest Dr Richard Burke on Friends, and as AJ Cooper on Las Vegas.
The Hollywood legend also starred as police commissioner Frank Reagan in Blue Bloods from 2010, before its axe in 2014.
After filming the CBS series for 14 years, Tom didn’t hide his devastation that the police drama was coming to an end, admitting it will take him a ‘long time’ to get over it.
He told TV Insider last year: ‘CBS will find an awful lot of people aren’t ready to say goodbye to it.

‘The show’s more popular than ever, and I think [numbers] will increase with the interest this year. We’re certainly not out of ideas.’
Talking about whether he’s ‘ready’ to retire to his ranch, in California, after commuting back and forth from the East Coast for filming, he added: ‘I’m not counting the days so I can do something else. I love the work.
‘Sometimes the hours are a little harder because I’m older, but so what? I want work as long as they’ll have me.’
