Tommy Fury has been spotted for the first time since his ex-fiance, Molly-Mae Hague, discussed intimate details of their split.

The former couple, who share a daughter together and were even engaged before breaking up in August, have kept details of their relationship breakdown tightly under wraps.

While infidelity rumours plagued them, the 25-year-olds have both shared with the public this week that their split was due to the professional boxer’s alcohol addiction. Now, Tommy has been spotted for the first time since the revelations were made.

Seen wearing a grey matching tracksuit, the professional boxer appeared to be in good spirits as he laughed and joked around with his friends in Cheshire.

He later shared images on his Instagram of the trip from earlier in the day, revealing to fans he had hiked to the top of Kinder Scout in Peaks District just in time to see the sunset.

Tommy’s weekend away comes just days after Molly-Mae’s new docuseries, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, dropped on Prime Video.

Choosing to share details of her split with her legion of fans, Molly-Mae broke down in the first episode as she spoke to her mum, Debbie Gordon, about what happened behind closed doors.

‘There were exterior issues going on for him that was causing our relationship to have problems,’ she said.

‘He wanted to have a family life, but then also have the life of a 25-year-old boy with no responsibilities. And that’s not – the two don’t go hand-in-hand,’ she added.

Although Molly-Mae said Tommy ‘never had an alcohol problem’, it did still cause problems for them.

At my sister’s wedding, I literally pleaded with Tommy, like I begged him to not drink. And, it’s just…’ she said before looking tearful and choking up.

‘I don’t know. It just really sucked. I don’t know why I’m crying now,’ she added.

Going on, she said to her mum, who also experienced issues with alcohol after her split from her ex-husband: ‘It’s just so sad. And like it just, it affected me. That’s why my relationship with alcohol is so damaged. When you reflect on it, it’s really hard.’

Molly-Mae continued to say she could ‘only cite a couple of examples where he’s had some alcohol, and it’s not led to anything disastrous’.

Debbie then told the camera it was ‘heartbreaking how alcohol has really messed things up…it’s been so detrimental and destructive’.

Reflecting on Tommy’s drinking, Molly-Mae said he ‘doesn’t want to be that person’ however her mum said being married to him was going to be ‘rocky’.

Molly-Mae’s comments about her and Tommy’s relationship struggles came after he sat down with Men’s Health this week, revealing he’d become ‘addicted to alcohol’ and his mental health had been ‘in the pan’ after a boxing injury put his career on hold.

‘The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore.

‘It kills me to say it, [but] it’s true, I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is. People go through different things in life and we all have our crosses to bear. I’ve got mine to bear.’

Neither Molly-Mae nor Tommy have revealed the current status of their relationship.

Molly-Mae: Behind It All is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
