WWE is returning to Europe for another historic premium live event.
The company has officially announced Clash In Paris coming to the capital of France on August 31 at Paris La Défense Arena, which will mark the first ever PLE in the City of Love.
The massive show follows last year’s Backlash France PLE in Lyon, which is regarded by many as the loudest WWE crowd in recent memory.
No on-sale date has been announced for tickets, but fans can register now for pre-sale access.
‘Backlash France in Lyon last year broke arena records and decibel levels, demonstrating just how loud and passionate our WWE fans in France can be,’ WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque said in a statement.
‘We believe Clash in Paris and Raw will attract people from around the world to Paris and once again create a true spectacle.’
AJ Styles was a firm favourite on that weekend, with the audience’s ‘Il est vraiment phenomenal’ chant even making the cameras shake during the broadcast.

‘It was unbelievable, the atmosphere,’ the former world champion previously told Metro. ‘I mean, you got to see it to believe it, it’s one of those.’
The Phenomenal One has been open about time ticking on his wrestling career, but he admitted ‘nights like that’ can make a superstar want to prologue their in-ring run.

‘That’s why it’s so hard guys for guys to retire, nights like that,’ he smiled. ‘They want to be a part of that, it’s something special.’
The Clash In Paris announcement comes after WWE President Nick Khan confirmed the company would be returning to France, while it follows a string of exciting shows in Europe over the past few years.
It started with a visit to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium for Clash At The Castle in September 2022, while Money In The Bank was held at The O2 in London the following summer.

After Backlash in Lyon, WWE was in the UK for Clash At The Castle in Glasgow following both, before German fans had their turn with Bash In Berlin at the end of August.
In March this year, the company is also bringing the Road To WrestleMania to Europe, with a few weeks of Raw and SmackDown leading up to the huge show taking place outside North America for the first time.
As part of that run, WWE is returning to The O2 for SmackDown and Raw on March 28 and 31, which will both air live on Netflix.

Meanwhile, fans are still hoping for a Royal Rumble or WrestleMania in the UK one day, particularly after talks between Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and WWE boss Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.
‘There is a lot that needs to be discussed further but we share the ambition of Mayor Khan in trying to bring a stand-out WWE Premium Live event to London,’ Nick Khan previously said.
WWE returns to London’s O2 Arena for SmackDown (March 28) and Raw (March 31). Individual event tickets pre-sale starts at 10am on January 30, with general sale the following day.
